Dine in Brooklyn is the
borough's answer to New
York Restaurant Week. If you can't wait for that bi-annual event you can
get into training by eating a path through some
of Brooklyn's best restaurants. This year's $19.55 price celebrates the
year the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series four games to three
over the New York Yankees, the only time dem bums would bring
the flag to the borough. Enjoy a three-course lunch or a dinner
at some of the City's finest dining establishments (plus
beverage, tax, tip). You can sample from a bit of old Brooklyn,
a bit of new, some ethnic flavors and some new tastes. This
first event turned out to be pretty popular so be sure to make
your plans early; we've already picked out a few spots. The
great news this year is that the number of participating
restaurants has doubled to almost 200 -- making it even easier
to find a good place to chow down. Keep in mind that days and
times offered for individual restaurants may vary. Be sure to
call in advance to confirm hours
