Dora the Explorer is a...well, we really don't know much about her just yet, but we're sure your kids can tell you. As soon as we find a kid to tell us all about her and her show we'll try to pass some info along

And this is what we've found. Dora is a young bilingual girl who uses her show to teach preschoolers basic problem solving skills -- along with a bit of Spanish --  that help them on their ways through childhood. She's joined along the way by her friends Boots, Benny, Tico, Backpack and Map, all keeping an eye out for Swiper the Fox. In Dora's Pirate Adventure, the tykes are going to put on a pirate play. The Pirate Piggies swoop in and take the treasure box. But there isn't any gold in the box, it holds the pirate costumes for the play. Dora and her buddies have to sail the seven seas to get the costumes back in order to put on their play
