Shakespeare in the Park is
Joseph Papp's and the Public Theater's enduring gift to the people of NYC. Yes, New York is
a very expensive city, but in how many other places can you see
the folks who appear in these shows...for FREE? Tickets go fast so
be sure to get to the Delacorte or the Public early. Pack a picnic
supper and dine in the Park. The Delacorte's doors open at 7:30P
For the 2010 season the folk's at the
Public Theater are featuring two classics by Bill Shakespeare,
The Winter's Tale and The Merchant of Venice. The
plays will run in repertory from June 9th thru August 1st
