How to Become a Vendor
One of our most frequently asked
questions is "How do I set up a street fair or block party?" You
can find what permits are needed from the
Office of Citywide Event Coordination and Management, phone 212-788-7439.
To
answer the question "Who do I contact to sell my stuff at
such-and-such-specific street fair?", do what we would have
to do: Open the phone book and look up the number of the
sponsoring organization. If they are not producing the street fair
themselves, they should be able to give you the event producer's contact
information. Three of the major street fair producers, Clearview
Festival Productions, Mardi Gras Productions and Mort & Ray
Productions provide information on the where's, what's and how's
and the specific vendor permits needed and how to obtain them:
