Kaufmann Concert Hall has
been a center for the arts on the Upper East Side since its
doors opened in 1930. Seating just over 900 with excellent
acoustics, the hall is a much sought after venue for concerts,
operatic performances, dramatic and musical theater, lectures
and conferences. In addition to programs produced by the Y, the
New
York Philharmonic uses it to stage its ongoing annual
chamber music series
