Hammerstein Ballroom is part
of Manhattan Center Studios, originally built by Oscar Hammerstein
(the elder) as the Manhattan Opera House. It has been through a
few incarnations over the years as a Masonic center, a big-band
dance hall and as a meeting space. Refurbishment and resurrection
began in the 1990s and now, it's Art Deco lustre restored, it is
mostly used as a venue for corporate events and New
York City concerts
