Merkin Hall is the
performance space of the Elaine Kaufman Cultural Center. It isn't
the best small house in New York, it isn't the worst. Always
presented is full line of music and dance performances: solo
recitals, chamber orchestras, symphony orchestras, family
programs, world music and dance, new sounds, a bit of jazz and a bit of
Broadway. Performances
at Merkin Hall are almost always affordable, many with ticket
prices in the $15 to $40 range
