Says We haven't gotten down to see this new
high-priced property as yet. About all we know is that it was
originally built as the business offices of John Jacob Astor in 1890
(the Astor family owned most of the land in the area, if not most of
Manhattan). It's supposed to be a great building, with loft-like
rooms done in a Romanesque revival style by William Schickel. At the
prices they want we've got to see it
