The last incarnation of the Millenium
Hilton Hotel was very
impressive and it was arguably the best hotel in the Downtown area.
Now the folks at Hilton had to go back and do it all over again.
They succeeded. They brought it back with a flair, all smooth lines
and soothing colors. Public areas are sleek and shining with enough
wood paneling to give them a sense of depth. The hotel, befitting
its area, is targeted toward the upscale business traveler, and
provides all the facilities and services one needs. The rooms are
spacious and done up in a very comfortable "hotel modern" decor.
Families spending a long weekend in town would appreciate coming
back these rooms. The hotel's location is great for doing all of the
sites and attractions in Downtown Manhattan. Everything is pretty
close down here, most just a nice stroll away
Now if they would only spell 'millenium'
with two 'ns'...
