The TriBeCa Grand Hotel is quite a
bit out of our price range and the Downtown scene is not quite our milieu
so we haven't investigated this too deeply. A walk through one
Saturday afternoon found it to be just about everything we had heard
about it: very sleek, very chic, very stylish, very hip. This very,
very everything property fits right into the hot TriBeCa
neighborhood, from its unique design down to the quite young, quite
professional staff
If you must travel with you pet this
is the place to stay, with almost more services and goodies for the
furry one than for you, including room service. If you happen to
leave your loved one home and need a bit of companionship the folks
at the TriBeCa Hotel will provide you with your very own goldfish
(and a "take-out" carrier so you can take it home)
The guest staff prides itself on
being part of the Downtown scene and our take on the hotel is that
the whole experience depends on you being -- or wanting to be --
part of the scene. Next time we drop by we're going to go with basic
black instead of our usual business casual khakis to feel a bit more
comfortable
