What Susie says about the Grand Hyatt New York City hotelSusie Says  On a fact-finding visit to the Grand Hyatt in 1999 we found the staff at this Grand Hyatt to be a bit snooty, not quite having the time to deal with people. We wrote "When first opened during the Trump-Helmsley hoopla of the early '80s the Grand Hyatt might have been able to get away with [poor service]; today there are too many other good NYC hotels from which to choose." Since that time both of us have visited the hotel frequently for meetings and events and have found all the staff with which we have had contact to be extremely gracious and helpful. The Grand Hyatt is a full-service hotel. The very comfortable rooms are tailored for the busy executive: large work areas equipped with power strips to plug in portable computing goodies, 24-hour room service and a large easy chair Photo of Grand Hyatt New York City hotel guest room for relaxing after a day of meetings. And the hotel is within easy walking distance of all major Midtown Manhattan businesses. For tourists, the Grand Hyatt's location-next to Grand Central Terminal is just a few minutes walk to 5th Avenue, Times Square, the Theater District, Rockefeller Center and beyond
