Says The folks at Radisson did a nice rework job on the
old Hotel Lexington, really spiffing the old haunt up and bringing
it into the 21st Century. A fairly large New York City hotel with
more than 700 rooms, the staff still manages to provide the warm,
friendly, professional service typical of smaller boutique hotels;
all the people we dealt with were very helpful. The latest
remodeling completely updated the decor, from somewhat faded
French-Continental to somewhat sleekly modern. The new look is much
fresher, using that warm, earth-tone palette hotel decorators have
been so obsessed with over the past few years (though we must say
the new colors do tend to lighten and open the rooms up a bit).
Marble bathrooms complete the new look with an overall touch of  luxury.
You can't get a much more convenient Midtown Manhattan location than
the Lexington. It's literally around the corner from many major
business headquarters; a few short blocks west to the Theater
District and Rockefeller Center; a few blocks east to the United
Nations; and a couple of blocks south to Grand Central Terminal.
It's a great choice for both the business and leisure traveler.
There are many fine dining options nearby and a slew of neighborhood
places a short stroll away along 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenues
