The Queens Symphony Orchestra
is the oldest professional arts organization in Queens. During its
performance year it presents a series of "Masterworks"
concerts at Queensborough Community College. As part of this
series, QSO gives free tickets to various community centers and
organizations so that every person in the borough has an
opportunity to enjoy classical music. Paying patrons will be
pleasantly surprised at the very affordable ticket prices
Through its Music on the Move and
Arts-in-Education programs, the QSO musicians bring music to
schools and neighborhood centers throughout the borough. During
the summer, the orchestra presents a series of free outdoor
concerts for all to enjoy
