built in 1853 by Charles Baisley. Opulent might be a good word to
describe the Baisley. The drawing room is decorated in burgundy and
gold, an Egyptian revival parlor suite contains Ecclesiastical art
and the dining room features a hand-painted ceiling. The rear garden
overflows with English roses and is furnished with Victorian garden
furniture. The art collection ranges in period from the eighteenth
to the twentieth century
