two 1841-era townhouses have been remodeled with all modern
conveniences while still reflecting days gone by. The Victorian
parlor in one townhouse, with two fireplaces and a baby grand piano,
serves as both the reception area and common room. Rooms are
comfortably furnished, many recreating a country look in the City;
some are somewhat theme oriented: the Washington, Bishop, Stable,
Garden and Maine rooms, for example. The atmosphere is most
welcoming and the members of the staff do everything they can to
make your stay enjoyable
