Highlights

The Children's Museum of the Arts is
the place in SoHo where children can create. Hands on art
activities, sing-alongs, and performance help stimulate the artistic
energies of children ages 1 through 12 and their families. Special
exhibitions highlight local artists and children’s art from around
the world as well as provide the visual inspiration to turn all
children into artists
The Museum offers a wide variety of
after school and early childhood classes, summer art camps and
public programs. Kids can develop their own 'zine, use a variety of
materials to create portraits, explore dance, poetry, photography
and the stage, sculpt in clay, learn how to make a book, and work
with a number of craft items
