Highlights

With more than 800,000 objects in its collections and 50,000 volumes in its library, the American Numismatic is a one of a kind coin collecting treasure house. Coins, tokens, folding money, anything that has been used as currency--including credit cards--is included

Unfortunately, much of the collection will be our of view for the next couple of years.  The Society moved from its long-time location at uptown Manhattan's Audubon Terrace to its present home in 2004 and the new exhibit space is still being constructed, scheduled for completion sometime in 2007 or 2008. Until then, shows are being mounted at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Things change quickly in NYC. Be sure to contact the museum or society for changes to schedules, admission fees, restrictions on children, strollers, backpacks, etc.
