Highlights

Best known a historic building and
the headquarters of the NYC Parks Department, the Arsenal houses a
3rd floor gallery that mounts exhibits on subjects relating to NYC
parks and their history, NYC artists and the seasons
A sampling of recent shows included
paintings and photographs of the Williamsburg waterfront; the annual
holiday exhibition of wreaths made from different, somewhat unusual
materials; a survey of the great civic monuments that memorialize
our nation's involvement in war; and a photographic essay of the
shrinking number of pigeon keepers atop Brooklyn's roofs
