Review  The show that is to replace Tango Argentino after its limited run at the Gershwin Theater, Riverdance, is fast, exciting, heart-thumping. Tango Argentina is slower, sensual, heart-thumping. Though some athleticism is on display, mostly by the younger dancers, the production's main appeal is the opening of the Argentine soul -- amorous, sensual -- through the national dance

The show's production is stark, with a mostly bare stage; if you're an aficionado you won't want more to get in the way of the dancers. First staged in New York in 1985 Tango Argentino might not set off a storm of imitators this time around, but those buffs who find their way to the Gershwin Theater will be well satisfied
