Synopsis The Goat or
Who Is Sylvia? Make that a big question mark at the end of the
title. We aren't going to dwell too long on this one. Suffice it to
say that a successful architect, a man at the top of his game, who's
winning awards, has a beautiful wife, well, he up and falls in love
and has an affair with a goat. The best thing we've heard about this
show is that the architect's son is named Billy. Get it?
Muddled in Manhattan The
Goat or Who Is Sylvia? was not well received by New York City
critics. Didn't think it had a chance for a Tony nomination.
Surprise! Didn't think it had a chance to win. Surprise again! Some
of the critics that panned the show sit on the Tony award committee.
Appears to be a flawed process that allows a flawed show to be the
consensus choice for a Tony
