Synopsis It's 1960s
California and The Graduate, Benjamin is a bit confused about
where to go next in life and bemused about his love life. If you can
quite call it that. Benjamin is having an affair with Mrs Robinson,
who treats him more or less as she would the pool boy, but is in
love with her daughter, Elaine, who is about to be married -- not to
Benjamin
Notes The 1967 movie
starred Anne Bancroft, Dustin Hoffman, Katharine Ross, William
Daniels and Murray Hamilton. Director Mike Nichols won the Oscar for
best direction. We're still curious if, after his success with The
Producers, whether Mel Brooks would contemplate a musical
version of The Graduate with wife Anne Bancroft reprising her
role
