Notes The original Broadway
production of The Women opened December 26th, 1936, at the Ethel
Barrymore Theater. It featured Margalo Gillmore, Ilka Chase,
Audrey Christie and Marjorie Main. The show was revived in 1973 at
the 46th
Street Theater with Kim Hunter, Myrna Loy, Alexis Smith and
Dorothy Loudon in the cast. The 1939 movie version starred Norma
Shearer, Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell; George Cukor directed
