Notes  Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All had a successful pre-Broadway run at San Diego's Globe Theatre in January 2003

Prior to it's Broadway opening the show played to very small audiences. We were surprised a couple of weeks back when the November 18th performance (night after opening) was canceled.  In hindsight, we surmise that the producers knew the show was in trouble and wanted a day to see if an audience built after the reviews came out. Though generally "okay," there were no raves and no jump in ticket sales
