Creative  Richard Alfieri author | Arthur Allan Seidelman director

Opening Night Cast  Polly Bergen | Mark Hamill

Notes  Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks was to star David Hyde Pierce and Uta Hagen but development stopped after LA run due to ailing Hagen. A Spring 2003 Miami run with Hamill and Rue McClanahan got the show back on the road to B'way, now Bergen in for McClanahan

Six Dance Lessons, which had been hampered by sluggish sales, was further adversely affected when Polly Bergen had a flame-up of an old leg problem. The star was forced to leave the November 8th matinee performance, completed by understudy Kathleen Doyle. Thereafter, despite continued attempts Ms Bergen was unable to perform. The producers announced the closing November 21st
