The Road to Broadway
Spelling Bee had its inception as C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, an
improvisational work by the New York City writing collective
The
Farm. The 25th Annual... version, with book by Ms
Sheinkin, and music and lyrics by Mr Fynn, bowed at the
Barrington Stage Company in Summer '04, moving to NYC's
Second Stage Theatre
for a very successful run
