Lieber and Stoller went Broadway, ABBA went Broadway, then Billy Joel went Broadway. Now it's time for Elvis Presley and all of his writers to hit the Big Stem. First on our radar in March 2003 as Can't Help Falling in Love, the show features a bunch of the King's hits including the title song (both old and new). According to the Goodspeed Opera House, where the show had a Spring 2004 run, it's not just a revue-type compilation of hits. The story, according to press release: "Somewhere in middle America one girl’s wish and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger will lead a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll"
