Synopsis Eddie and May
'accidentally' reunite at a down-at-its-heels desert motel in a
taut, powerful drama that puts the two ex-lovers at odds with each
other, themselves, their emotions and their true relationship
Notes This will be the
Broadway premiere for Fool for Love. The show's 1983 New York
deb turned into a 1,000 performance run. The characters May and
Eddie were originated by Kathy Baker and Ed Harris, who makes his
Broadway directorial debut with the current production
Robert Altman directed the 1985 movie
version. Adapted for the screen by Mr Shepard, that version starred
himself opposite Kim Basinger
