Synopsis Life partners Georges and Albin are the proprietors of a somewhat wild nightclub in St Tropez when their son announces his intention to marry the daughter of the man who heads the areas most traditionalist organization. Farcical deceptions are attempted, identities hidden and uncovered, roles reversed and relationships rescued

Notes Gene Barry and George Hearn headed the cast of the original production of La Cage aux Folles when it graced the stage of the Palace Theater for 1,761 performances from August 1983 through November 1987. Directed by Arthur Laurents, the show went on to win six 1984 Tony® Awards

The Mike Nichols directed 1996 film version starred Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and an outrageous Gene Hackman
