Synopsis

Padraic's cat was killed. Now, usually the death of a cat on a craggy island off the coast of Galway wouldn't have too many repercussions in the overall scheme of things. When it's the beloved pet of a hardened terrorist, would you really want him to find out?

The Road to Broadway

The Lieutenant of Inishmore played across the pond to great acclaim, recognized as best new comedy with the 2003 Olivier Award. The production was brought to New York by the Atlantic Theater Company and, shortly after performances began on February 8, 2006, plans were made for a quick jump to Broadway
