Synopsis

Simply put, based on a simple movie, the 1998 film that starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Robbie Hart, a wedding singer, and Julia, a cater-waiter, are in love. With different people, the wrong people. They get hurt, they find each other, they're happy

Road to Broadway

Not too many potholes in the road for this show, not when it's backed by film shop New Line Cinema. Word of development first surfaced in 2004 and went on fast track to April 2005 announcement of Spring 2006 deb. The production makes a quick stop at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre in February 2006 before moving to New York
