Synopsis

Though we're calling this a solo comedy, in The Two and Only it gets a bit hard to figure out just how many characters are sharing the stage with ventriloquist Jay Johnson

Road to Broadway

Jay Johnson and his show The Two and Only originally played a very successful Off-Broadway run at the Atlantic Theater Company in Spring and Summer 2004. The show was originally scheduled to open on Broadway in April, 2006, but Sarah Jones' Bridge and Tunnel was a bit of a hit and asked to extend. As it awaited its New York City home, the show took the opportunity to play a short April - May run at Burbank's Colony Theater
