Broadway Show History

Journey's End premiered at Henry Miller's Theater in March 1929. With Colin Keith-Johnston as the captain, the grueling drama played for more than a year and a total of 485 performances

Keith-Johnston reprised his role in a short 16-performance revival at the Empire Theater in 1939

The Road to Broadway

After a 75th anniversary of Journey's End played in London from January 2004 to February 2005 and a concurrent UK tour through July 2005, plans were set in motion to bring it to the States. As such things do it simply took a bit of time. Same creative folks with a US cast
