Broadway Show History

The original production of les Miserables opened at the Broadway Theater March 12, 1987. In a split run (it transferred to the Imperial Theater in October 1990), the show ran for 6,680 performances. les Miz went on the win six 1987 Tony Awards®, including those for best musical, best direction, best book and best score
