Synopsis

Sex. It's always about sex. And the Vicomte and Marquise enjoy sex. Or at least enjoy using sex to create scandal for their own amusement

Young Cecile leaves the convent to be married. The Marquise has other ideas. She tries to enlist the Vicomte's aid to place Cecile in, hmm, let's say somewhat awkward positions in order to embarrass her betrothed. The Vicomte though, has set his sights somewhat higher, Madame de Tourval. They make an agreement

As these things happen, of course, things change. Cecile turns out to be attracted to the Chevalier (no, not her betrothed). The Vicomte does succeed in bringing Cecile to his bed. And he does win the affections of Madame de Tourval

The Marquise reneges on their agreement (her body for his success). All is now thrown into turmoil
