All My Sons premiered on Broadway at the Coronet Theater on January 29, 1947, directed by Elia Kazan. Lois Wheeler played Ann Deever, Ed Begley appeared as Joe Keller, Beth Merrill played Kate Keller and Arthur Kennedy played Chris Keller

The production won the 1947 Tonys® for outstanding playwright and direction

Sons first revival was a 31-performance run at John Golden's Theater in April and May 1987. The Arvin Brown staging featured Jayne Atkinson (Ann), Richard Kiley (Joe), Joyce Ebert (Kate), and Jamey Sheridan (Chris). It won the 1987 Tony® for best revival

In the Movies

Irving Reis directed the 1948 film version. Edward G Robinson headed the cast as Joe Keller; Burt Lancaster played Chris; Mady Christians, Kate; and Louisa Horton played Ann

On Television

A 1987 made-for-television movie was directed by Jack O'Brien. James Whitmore, Aidan Quinn, Michael Learned and Joan Allen filled the key roles
