Elia Kazan. Lois Wheeler played Ann Deever, Ed Begley appeared as
Joe Keller, Beth Merrill played Kate Keller and Arthur Kennedy

Sons first revival was a
31-performance run at John Golden's Theater in April and May 1987.
The Arvin Brown staging featured Jayne Atkinson (Ann), Richard Kiley
(Joe), Joyce Ebert (Kate), and Jamey Sheridan (Chris). It won the
1987 Tony® for best
revival
In the Movies
Irving Reis directed the 1948 film
version. Edward G Robinson headed the cast as Joe Keller; Burt
