Synopsis

The American Plan had its premiere at the Manhattan Theatre
Club's Stage II back in January, 1990. Evan Yionoulis directed. Joan
Copeland (Eva ), Rebecca Miller (Lili), Tate Donovan (Nick), Eric
Stoltz (Gil), and Beatrice Winde (Olivia) were in the cast
The production had a second run at MTC's Stage I starting in
December, 1990. The creative team was basically the same, but other
than Joan Copeland reprising her portrayal of Eva, the cast changed.
This time around Wendy Makkena as Lili, D W Moffet as Nick, Jonathan
Walker as Gil and Yvette Hawkins as Olivia
The play has also had many stagings at regional theaters around the
