Synopsis

You know the gist: The murdered King and his ghost; the Uncle who murdered the King marries the mom; the Prince is haunted by the King's ghost and by life

Broadway Show History
It would be impossible to get an accurate count of Hamlet productions in what would be considered Broadway theaters. In the 20th Century alone there were 51 productions, 35 of which took to the boards between 1900 and 1920, sometimes playing at the same time at opposite ends of the street

The last major revival was a 1995 version at the Belasco Theater. Ralph Fiennes played the lead while bring home the 1995 Tony® for best actor in a play
