Synopsis Beauty and the
Beast is, as most fairytales, a morality play. A handsome
prince, because of his pride, is turned into a hideous beast. He
lives in and enchanted castle with, among others, Lumiere the
candelabra, Cogsworth the clock, Chip the teacup and Mrs Potts. The
Beast must learn to love again in order to break the spell
Beautiful Belle's father is
imprisoned by the Beast. Belle convinces the Beast to accept her as
a prisoner instead. Needless to say, the Beast falls in love, but
all is not yet happy. Belle and the Beast have to work through a bit
of betrayal and a flirtation with death before all live happily ever
after
