Actors' Fund Performances
A Special Broadway Event
Each year, every Broadway show adds an extra performance to benefit
the Actors' Fund, the organization founded in 1882 to ""to advance,
foster and benefit the welfare of all professionals in the
entertainment community who are in need of help, ensuring that these
efforts are accomplished with compassion, confidentiality and
preservation of dignity for the individuals concerned"
Many of the special performances are scheduled for Sunday evenings
when most Broadway shows are not scheduled and their cast members
can finally have a chance to see their colleagues perform. These
audiences are very enthusiastic and appreciative, you won't find a
critical voice in the house. Performances are very energetic and
very exciting, just about the must see Broadway experience
Now, here's a bit of a secret. Occasionally, tickets to Actors' Fund
performances are not available through the usual outlets such as
Telecharge
and
Ticketmaster. Well, sometimes you can purchase tickets directly
from the Fund. See the
ticket links below for more information
