Broadway by the Year is an annual series of four
concerts that celebrate a year in the history of the great American
musical. The series, inaugurated in 2002, is written and hosted by
Scott Siegel. Each series starts with numbers from shows staged
during one year from the early days of the musicals. Each concert
progresses along by about a decade or so, usually winding up
somewhere in the sixties or seventies. Some of Broadway's biggest
stars, along with some exciting up-and-comers, take to the stage and
bring us on a journey through the years
Here's the projected schedule for the 2006 season. Performers will
be announced at a later date
