Broadway Show History Strindberg's 1888 drama,
originally banned, received a three-performance Broadway showing by
the Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden in 1962 at the Cort
Theater The Road to Broadway Not Taken Scheduled for January 2003 previews at Longacre
Theater but indefinitely postponed after slated star Natasha
Richardson dropped out of the production in order to do a film
project with husband Liam Neeson. A different production, helmed by
Scott Schwartz with a cast headed by Mimi Bilinski, took the stage
at the Cherry
Lane Theater for a one-month run starting June 15 2004
