Synopsis

A meatpacker and a seamstress get together to the sounds of the times on the Lower East Side of 1900

The Road to Broadway (Almost)

Syncopation's world premiere was at New Haven' Long Wharf Theatre in 1999 and went on to play various regional productions as it looked to Broadway, including Mill Valley, CA's Marin Theatre Company in Spring 2003

The show's planned Fall 2004 production was cancelled late July 2004 due to financing difficulties

Notes

Mr Knee's last -- and only -- Broadway effort was the four-performance Late Night Comic back in 1987. Now it looks like he will have two productions staged at the same time; his long-awaited Little Women is due to hit the boards later in the year
